Last night, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences handed out of the Emmy Awards.
Couple of comments:
Glenn Close winning for DAMAGES. She has done a fantastic job, but I don’t know that she should have won for the second season, which was certainly a notch below the previous.
But, it is always nice to see talented folk get rewarded. Personally, I would have given it to Holly Hunter for SAVING GRACE.
Also, I was thrilled to see Kristin win for PUSHING DAISIES. Nice to see her (and the show) get some recognition for a nice performance in a unique show.

Holly Hunter makes that show, playing a damaged and complex character. Never dull and not afraid to show emotion, get angry, make mistakes.
PUSHING DAISIES just needed a little tweaking. I wish they had given the writers a chance.
I think they should institite a no two years in row rule for actors playing the same character. That's an apathetic voter base.
