Dana Cameron is bringing her Fangborn denizens from the short story format to the world of full-length novels. Cameron has signed a three book deal with Amazon’s 47 North imprint.
The series will feature archeologist named Zoe Miller and takes place in a place called Fangborn, a land filled with folk that can turn into supernatural creatures such as vampires and werewolves. It is a world that Dana had previously explored in short stories over the years. As part of the deal, Dana will also write three stories (roughly 10,000 words each) about Zoe and company. Those stories will be released each fall, starting in September of 13.
I ask Dana how she felt about bringing Fanborn to the big leagues: “I’ve had a blast writing about the Fangborn since I wrote “The Night Things Changed,” and couldn’t be more thrilled to explore their ‘verse on an epic scale, with a series of novels.”
The first will be SEVEN KINDS OF HELL and will be released in March of 2013.
Congratulations to Dana!
