What does it say about a show when the announcement of a co-star is more interesting than that of the main star?
THR is reporting that Alan Tudyk will join the cast of the upcoming NBC remake of THE ROCKFORD FILES. He will play Det. Dennis Becker, Rockford’s lone friend on the force. In the original series, Becker was played by Joe Santos.
Tudyk was Wash on FIREFLY and SERENITY and has appeared in 3:10 TO YUMA and A KNIGHT’S TALE. He recently played Alpha on DOLLHOUSE. Tudyk really won me over as Wash and this is the first good thing I have heard about this remake.
Dermot Mulroney will star as Rockford.
