In a move that should surprise nobody, A&E announced they have ordered a third season of THE GLADES.
At first,  I was pretty critical of THE GLADES. It was cutesy and felt, to me, lazy. I never really felt they took advantage of the exotic locale and the scripts were  mediocre at best. Matt Passmore and Kiele Sanchez did a solid job with what little they had.
But season two saw the writing improve and the key actors continued to delived the goods. The chemistry has really come along and has helped make THE GLADES an entertaining way to spend an evening.
And the numbers continue to shine: Season two averaged 3.9 million viewers, almost a 25% increase over season one. That is enough for A&E to bring er’ back for a third time.
