Deadline is reporting that Albert Brooks (BROADCAST NEWS, OUT OF SIGHT) will be joining the cast of DRIVE. Brooks will be playing Bernie Rose, a mobster from New York that now calls L.A. home.
DRIVE, based on the novella by James Sallis, stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan and Bryan Cranston with Nicolas Winding Refn directing.
Gosling is a Hollywood stuntman that moonlights as a getaway driver for robberies. Life gets crazy when he discovers that a hit has been put on him.
