Another new SHUTTER ISLAND trailer.

I know many of you are frustrated that SHUTTER ISLAND was pushed back to Feb of 2010, but here is the third trailer for Scorsese’s take on the Dennis Lehane novel.

The year is 1954. U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner, Chuck Aule, have come to Shutter Island, home of Ashecliffe Hospital for the Criminally Insane, to investigate the disappearance of a patient. Multiple murderess Rachel Solando is loose somewhere on this remote and barren island, despite having been kept in a locked cell under constant surveillance. As a killer hurricane bears relentlessly down on them, a strange case takes on even darker, more sinister shades.

SI stras Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, and Jackie Earle Haley. It lands in theaters on Feb 19th, 2010.

    My question is that if you've read the book and know the ending, can the movie really be very suspenseful. More a case of how to pull it off.

    Agreed. Having spoken with somebody that attended a screening a couple of months back, it sounds like it follows the book pretty closely.
