A couple months ago, I said that Appoloosa was landing in limited cities on Sept 17, then going nationwide on the 19th.
That is no longer the case.
The Ed Harris directed western will land in Toronto, NYC and L.A.on Sept 19th, with a national release on October 3rd.
Based on the novel by Robert B. Parker, Appaloosa is about two friends that have been hired to protect a town from a ruthless rancher. Things get more complicated when a lovely widow arrives in town.
Appaloosa also stars Viggo Mortensen (Eastern Promises, History of Violence and some fantasy trilogy about little guys and a ring), Renee Zellweger (Cold Mountain, Bridget Jones Diary), Oscar winner Jeremy Irons (French Lieutenant’s Woman, Lolita) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens, televisions amazing Millennium).
