When word first came that Peter Berg was making a movie based on the BATTLESHIP board game, I was skeptical…no, that is not right, I was sneering with disbelief. But, sometimes we are wrong. Sometimes, one has to step up and admit that he/she jumped to conclusions without waiting for the facts to come in.
This does not appear to be one of those times. Universal has released the first trailer for the film and it appear that the U.S. navy is battling either space invaders or giant alien robots…does this excite anyone out there?
This turkey will be coming to a theater near you on May 18, 2012.
