There really was no doubt, but word has come that ABC has ordered a 22 episode third season of CASTLE. Last night’s episode drew 14.5 million viewers, making the folks at ABC very happy.
For those of you that live under a rock, CASTLE stars Nathan Fillion as bestselling mysery author Rick Castle.Rick follows homicide dective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) around, using her as his inspiration for his new protagonist Nikki Heat.
For the second season, CASTLE only had an initial order of 13 episodes and had another 9 ordered in October.
