The folks at The Playlist have debuted the first poster for Jim Mickle’s COLD IN JULY.
In the Joe Lansdale based thriller, Richard Dane (Michael C Hall), an East Texas builder, shoots and kills a burglar in his living room. But Russell (Sam Sheppard), the father of the thief, wants revenge, looking to slay Richard’s son (an eye for an eye). The feud takes an unexpected turn that results in Russell and Richard joining forces. The film also stars Vinessa Shaw as Ann Dane (Richard’s wife) and Don Johnson as Jim Bob Luke, a private investigator that could only come from Lansdale’s wicked and warped mind.
The film debuted tonight in the Sundance Film Festival.
