According to Variety, Antoine Fuqua (TRAINING DAY, SHOOTER) is on board to direct CONSENT TO KILL, the first film to feature Vince Flynn’s bestselling character Mitch Rapp.
After what seems like a lifetime, this project is finally making progress. First an agreed upon script from Jonathan Lemkin, now a director.
Fuqua has been able to mix action with solid characters, something many action helmers seem to lack.
Vince is confident that Fuaqua is a good choice:
“I think Antoine has done some amazing stuff. Visually he gets it, and when it comes to gritty action he is one of the best in the business. I am very excited to have him directing the film.”
