Tomorrow, Lee Crawford goes under the knife to remove a portion of a lung. Late winter, he was diagnoses with lung cancer. While lc is never a good thing, it was only in one lung and is the large cell kind. Apparently that is better than small cell.

He has completed Chemo and Rad treatment, both of which went well. He lost his beard and hair, but was spared his eye brows and eye lashes. This is good because I don’t know if I could handle him looking that freaky!

The doctors seem pretty confident (Can you imagine having a surgeon say “Gee, I don’t know if I can do this?) that the surgery will go smoothly. They are also pretty confident that the cancer has not spread.

Despite all of this good news, The Geez (as we call him) is still 60+ years old.
I ask that readers put him in their thoughts and prayers over the next few days.
