FX President John Landgraf announced, on Tuesday, that Marcia Gay Harden has signed on for the second season of Damages.

Gay Harden won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar, in 2001, for Pollock. She was also nominated for Mystic River.

Harden will play a Lawyer that is opposing Patty Hewes (Glenn Close).

Harden is just the latest addition to the critically praised show. As was previously mentioned, Oscar winner William Hurt has signed on.

Also appearing in season two will be Timothy Olyphant (Live Free or Die Hard, Deadwood) and Mario Van Peebles (New Jack City, Heartbreak Ridge).

In addition to this, it looks like Ted Danson’s Arthur Frobisher not only survived, but will be back at some point this season.
