In early Feb, I mentioned that the legendary SPINAL TAP was going to tour and release a new album.

Now the detail have been released.

It seems that Spinal Tap won’t actually appear, but the actors themselves will perform minus the costumes and wigs.

Not sure how I feel about that.

Christopher Guest (Nigel Tufnel), Michael McKean (David St. Hubbins) and Harry Schearer (Derek Smalls) will perform not only the Spinal Tap songs, but those of The Folksmen (Their band in A Mighty Wind).

The tour being called Unwigged and Unplugged.

On May 21st, they will release a new Spinal Tap album. One of the new songs is called Short and Sweet and will be over 20 minutes long.
