I can’t believe it, but it is about to happen:
DRIVE is actually going to happen. The film, based on the James Sallis novella Drive,starts principal shooting on Sept 20th.
Drive is a dark tale set in Southern California and Arizona, and centers on a stuntman (Ryan Gosling) who is also a wheelman during robberies. Things get really crazy when he discovers that a hit has been put on him. In addtion to Gosling, the cast includes Carey Mulligan (AN EDUCATION, the upcoming WALL STREET II: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS) and Bryan Cranston (BREAKING BAD).
Nicolas Winding Refn (PUSHER trilogy, BRONSON, VALHALLA RISING) is directing a screenplay by Oscar nominee Hossein Amini (THE WINGS OF THE DOVE, KILLSHOT).
