It is about damn time. Fox has announced the details for the season one DVD release of the USA series Burn Notice.
“Covert intelligence operative Michael Westen has been punched, kicked, choked and shot. Now he’s being burned, and someone’s going to pay! When Michael receives a “burn notice,” blacklisting him from the intelligence community and compromising his very identity, he must track down a faceless nemesis without getting himself killed in the process. Meanwhile, Michael is forced to double as a private investigator on the dangerous streets of Miami in order to survive.”
Those are their words, here are mine:
Burn Notice is about Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan,) a government agent that is kicked to the curb (given his burn notice) by the government.
With no idea as to what happened, Michael tries to get to the bottom of things. In the meantime, he uses his skills to assist others.
Hanging with Michael is his buddy Sam (delightfully played by Bruce Campbell) , a semi-retired intelligence agent that spends most of his time drinking and leering at young ladies and his ex-girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) who has ties to IRA.
Michael also has to deal with nagging from his mother (Sharon Gless).

The DVD set sounds awesome. BURN NOTICE was scheduled to start shooting on its second season in January, so it shouldn't be as affected by the strike as other shows.
Incidentally, I saw an interview with Steve Carrell yesterday where he said THE OFFICE would resume shooting today.
