Almost two years after filming concluded, the public will be able to watch Killshot.

Both theatrical and home video dates were set and then discarded. For a while, it looked like the film might never see the light of day.

Earlier this year, it was released in theaters…sort of.

The film was screened, on Jan 23rd, in Pheonix, AZ. That was it’s theatrical release.

Now Weinstein co. will released Killshot on DVD on May 26th. MSRP will be $19.97.

Killshot is based on the Elmore Leonard novel by the same name and stars Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Diane Lane, Thomas Jane and Rosario Dawson.

John Madden (Shakespeare in Love) directed.

This was supposed to be a Quentin Tarantino presentation. QT has apparently removed his name from the project. There is plenty of speculation as why time occurred, but I honestly have no clue what is accurate. One rumor is that the removal of Johnny Knoxville scenes (He tested very poorly) upset QT.

Good or bad, the general public will be now able to see it.
