Maybe the characters on FlashForward are too flawed to grab the viewer. Makes it hard to find one to hang your hat on. For my money it makes them interesting and that is the strength of the show. Though it sometimes makes them a little too real. it nicely counterbalances the fantastic premise that everyone in the world blacked out for two minutes and seventeen seconds at the same time. Most had visions of the future, six months down the line. Some saw nothing and assume they will be dead by then. Everyone is changed.
In his Flashforward, FBI agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) is working on the mystery of …the Flashforward …and a hip flask of something. Not a good thing for a recovering alcoholic. His wife Olivia (Sonya Walger! ) is in her teddy calling downstairs to a man not him, His partner Demetri Noh (John Cho) is one of those who saw nothing. and the office Lesbian is having a baby. And that’s just a few of the storylines, but it is well written enough that it’s not hard to follow.
I’ve gotten into the show and have started looking forward to the next episode. It’s a good yarn with a strong cast.
