TNT has announced that Emmy winner Eric McCormack will star in the pilot PERCEPTION.McCormack will play Dr. Geoffrey Pierce, a very eccentric neuroscientist that works with the Federal Government on various cases. According to the press release, Dr. Pierce has “an intimate knowledge of human behavior and a masterful understanding of the mind as well as an odd and imaginative view of the world.
McCormack previously appeared on the cable network with the short-lived 2009 series TRUST ME, but is best known for his Emmy-winning performance as Will on the NBC series WILL & GRACE.
A pilot has been ordered, but the network will wait to see the finished product before greenlighting a full season.
