Michael Ausiello is reporting that Fox has ordered a script for a pilot based on Jonathan Kellerman’s Alex Delaware books.
If they like the script, the next move would likely be to order a pilot.
Delaware is a psychologist, who often assists his friend Milo Sturgis, a gay LAPD detective. Delaware, who has appeared in 27 novels, made his debut in 1985 award-winning novel WHEN THE BOUGH BREAKS.
TV vet Pam Veasey is writing the script. Veasey was most recently an exec producer for CSI: NY, but has also worked on IN LIVING COLOR, THE RINGER and NASH BRIDGES. She would, along with Kellerman and Jerry Bruckheimer, whose production company would be producing the show, be an executive producer.
