Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced Season One of GRIMM will be released, on DVD and Blu-ray, on August 7th.
On GRIMM, a Portland cop named Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) discovers that he is a member of a long-line of monster hunters called the Grimms. Yes, as in Grimms’ Fairy tales. Apparently the Grimms did not just write about creepy things, they also beat the snot out of them. Soon after he discovers this, he finds himself taking his place as protector of humans and asskicker of beasties. He struggles to keep his two worlds separate.
