Entertainment Weekly is reporting that actress/comedienne Janeane Garofalo is in the final stages of negotiations for a role in the upcoming CRIMINAL MINDS spin-off, CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR. Oscar winner Forest Whitaker has already signed on to lead this new team of agents with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit. Garofalo will play an agent on his team.
Janeane had a recurring role towards the end of THE WEST WING, was a regular on season seven of 24, and starred in REALITY BITES and THE TRUTH ABOUT CATS AND DOGS.
I have to say that Garofalo, in combination with Whitaker, certainly has gaurenteed that I will at least give CM:SB a look.
