EW’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that Julia Stiles (10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, SAVE THE LAST DANCE) is in discussions to join the cast of DEXTER for season five.
No word on what her role would be, except that it would be a major one. It was said that there would not be one major villain this season.
Show leader Chip Johannessen:
“We’re not going to have a single Big Bad this season. We don’t want to try and top John Lithgow, so we’re going to change up the forces that Dexter’s going to be dealing with.”
Julia appeared on a few television shows prior to her breakthrough with 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, but this would be her first regular television gig.
