Coinciding with the lakefly hatch on Lake Winnebago, the event is being held on Saturday, May 9th, 8:30am-4pm at the Oshkosh Convention Center. Presenters include New York Times bestselling author Michael Perry, fantasy writer Scott Lynch, horror maven Richard Thomas, poet laureate Kimberly Blaeser, comedian Carl Strong, a police detective who analyzes crime scenes, and many other writing experts in fields ranging from memoirs to blogging. Twelve different workshops are offered, including: how to create a murder scene, promote your self-published book, and write comedy.
