Tim Roth and co return for an all new episode of LIE TO ME on June 7th. The ep, called Wish You Were Here, finds The Lightman Group investigates the murder of a billionaire whose wife may be involved.

And here is some good news: According to various online reports, Fox has ordered a 13 episode third season for LIE TO ME. EW’s Michael Ausiello announced it and Variety has followed up saying the same. Recently word came that exec producer Shawn Ryan was leaving the show. Ryan came on board after the first season. Normally that would be a concern to me as the showrunner is key and often the loss of one can result in a show losing it’s focus and overall vibe, but I never really saw any change in the feel of the show from season one to season two (when he was on board). Perhaps the change will be good for the show and whoever takes over will give LTM some much needed depth. I am a huge fan of star Tim Roth and do enjoy the show, but I can’t help but feel it could be so much more than it is.
