Ken Bruen’s London Blvd just picked up a trio of impressive talent, so says Variety.

Ray Winstone (The Departed, Indiana Jones and the mistake with the Crystal Skull), Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) and David Thewlis (Remus in the Harry Potter films) have agreed to join Colin Farell and Keira Knightly in the film version of Mr. Bruen’s fine novel.

Ferell plays a newly paroled South London criminal that goes to work as handyman for a reclusive actress.

Winstone will be playing a crime boss, Friel will be Colin’s sister and Thewlis is Knightly’s business manager.

William Monahan (The Departed, The Kingdom of Heaven)will, in addition to writing the screenplay, be making his directorial debut.
