Mary McCoy:
My novel comes out two days after LBCE, so not only is this my first comic convention as a panelist, it’s my first book event period. It’s kind of fitting, too, because I read so many crime comics while I was thinking up Dead To Me – Criminal, 100 Bullets, Gotham Central, Tumor, Incognegro. Those books were probably as much an influence on me as The Big Sleep was.
Richard Lange:
“As a lifelong comic fan, I’m excited about appearing on my first convention panel. I’m leaving my wallet at home, though, to avoid over-shopping!”
