A&E has to be pleased: The season 2 debut of LONGMIRE drew 4.3 million viewers. Season one averaged 4 million viewers.
The series is based on the novels of Craig Johnson and stars actor Robert Taylor (The Matrix) stars as Walt Longmire, sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After spending considerable time sleepwalking through life and work, Walt is focused on not just the job, but his family and friends. But his funk has made life more complicated, Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is running against Walt for Sheriff. Season two looks to play that story out as well as Walt working to improve his relationship with his daughter (Cassidy Freeman).
Also returning are Katee Sackhoff (Vic Moretti), Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry Standing Bear) and Adam Bartley (Ferguson.
