Series three of LUTHER begins next week. And while it will be the final series of the show, it may not be the last time we see the troubled detective.
At the Edinburgh Television Festival, series creator Neil Cross admitted he has a goal of doing a Luther film.
According to Cross, it would take place prior to the events of series one, with the final scene being the first from the TV series. Some characters that have died on the small screen would be back, including Luther’s wife Zoe. Because of the time period, Ruth Wilson’s Alice Morgan would not appear.
Folks can tune into BBC America on September 3rd.
