Reuters is reporting that Mark Ruffalo will be joining Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s film version of Dennis Lehane’s Shutter Island.
Ruffalo will be playing Chuck Aule, a Federal Marshall that accompanies his new partner Teddy(DiCaprio) to Shutter Island. The island is home to Ashecliffe Hospital for the Criminally Insane. They are there to investigate the disappearance of a murderess with ties to Teddy’s past.
Ruffalo has recently appeared in Zodiac and Reservation Road and is currently filming The Brothers Bloom.
