I am pleased as punch to introduce everyone to Kristen Micek. Kristen is currently interning at Kaye Publicity (Hey Miz Dana!) and has decided to step into the fabulous world of Crimespree.
Kristen is currently working towards a BA in English, creative writing concentration, with a minor in Digital Cinema from DePaul University. She loves travel, film, literature and long walks in the rain. In the coming weeks, she will be taking a look at GRIMM, ONCE UPON A TIME and season one of THE FADES.
In the meantime, I asked Kristen to answer a few questions:
When did you first develop a love of film and literature?
As early as I can remember, I was that wierd kid that read during nap time, and I’d go the movies every weekend growing up.
Name a few of your fav books.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Dune by Frank Herbert, and more that I’ll curse myself later for not remembering.
A few films
Serenity/Firefly, Lord of the Rings, An American Werewolf in London, and I loved the new Fright Night–can’t help it.
Which is more important: Caffeine or oxygen?
So, oxygen is kind of crucial to breathing, but caffeine’s a bit more important because I’m not sure I qualify as an actual human being without coffee.
Name five things currently in your fridge.
Water, coffee creamer, pasta (yes, in my fridge), Fage Greek yogurt with honey, and orange juice.
