“CRIMESPREE AROUND TOWN” or” WELCOME TO PAGE 5”
To celebrate the publication of their third anthology, the mystery collective known as The Minnesota Crime Wave held two signings this week. The first was at Once Upon A Crime on October 22nd, and the second at the Roseville, MN, Barnes And Noble on the 23rd.
The anthology is titled FIFTEEN TALES OF MURDER, MAYHEM, AND MALICE, and features crimes set in the Land Of 10,000 Lakes by authors who call the state home. And what a list of authors it is! New York Times best selling author William Kent Krueger, Edgar award winning author David Housewright, and Minnesota Book award winning author Richard A. Thompson are but a few of the authors who make up this “murder’s row” of standout writers.
Carl Brookins, who along with Krueger and Ellen Hart make up the Minnesota Crime Wave, served as MC for the event at Barnes And Noble. Brookins kept the pace of the evening brisk. After each of the authors gave a brief synopsis of their short stories, the floor was opened to questions from the audience.
