Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) : Listen, and understand. That terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
In 1984’s THE TERMINATOR, Kyle Reese is sent back in time to save the woman that will one day give birth to the potential savior of the human race. His job is to prevent a cyborg, also from the future, from killing said woman.
It is hard to believe, but James Cameron made a small budget Sci-fi thriller with Arnold Schwarzenegger as an unfeeling killing machine. Personally, I think it is the best film Arnie ever made. Gritty and, at times, chilling. The Terminator keeps coming no matter what. Even after being blown apart, the severed torso crawls towards Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) with the single-minded purpose of execution.
