ABC has released more details on the cast changes for Boston Legal.

First: Mark Valley (Brad Chase) and Rene Auberjonois (Paul Lewiston), former cast regulars, will appear in multiple episodes this season. They, along with Julie Bowen and Constance Zimmer, saw their options not picked up.

Emmy winner John Larroquette (Night Court) will play Carl Sack, a senior partner from the New York branch of Crane, Poole and Schmidt. Look for him to make plays for power in the Boston office.

Taraji P. Henson (Hustle and Flow) will also be joining the cast. She will play a lawyer that Sack brings in as he attempts to climb to the top of the pecking order.

Gail O’Grady (NYPD Blue, American Dreams) will make more appearances as Gloria Weldon, a judge that Alan Shore has been getting to know in the carnal way. O’Grady appeared in four episodes last season.
