While folks will have to wait until Sept 11th, 2009 to see the film version on Whiteout, the folks at Dark Castle have released the international poster for your viewing pleasure.

Based on the graphic novel by Greg Rucka, Whiteout has Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, Pearl Harbor) is starring as U.S. Marshall Carrie Stetko. Stetko has been sent to Antarctica to solve the continent’s first murder. The six months of sun are coming to an end and Carrie has little time to catch the killer before the sun sets and she is stuck there, with the killer, for the six months of darkness.
I have heard differing opinions on the film. Recently, I was told that the film has really improved in the editing process, but is still “won’t knock your socks off.”
