As I said Thursday, NUMB3RS appears to be coming to an end. The show has had it’s order cut from 22 to 16 episodes, something that is likely the beginning of the end.

But there is a bit of good news for fans: The show plans on wrapping things up:
Co-creator Cheryl Heuton told EW that “It will be designed to stand as a finale, but it won’t create story situations that would hamper us if the network should decide to order more episodes.”

I guess that is something.

A request: Have Larry (Peter MacNicol) go off into the sunset with Megan (former cast member Diane Farr).

Star Rob Morrow has posted the following on his Facebook page:

Hi All, CBS has pulled us back to 16 eps from an original order of 22. not a good sign. but, we’re not over yet. we need a big write-in campaign. ya’ll have to get everyone u know to blitz the network with unrelenting letters. keep numbers alive….

As I said in the previous post on this, I think NUMB3RS is one of the best police shows on television. They have done a killer job of developing the characters over the seasons and have some stellar acting. If you like the show, let CBS know! If you are not familiar with it, give it a shot!
