Ok, I deserve to be slapped for the headline, but it was just SITTING THERE!
Rumors were abound that rapper-turned-actor Common (Smokin’ Ace, Street Kings) was likely for The A-TEAM. Since then Common has signed on for JUST WRIGHT, a Queen Latifah comedy. JW starts shooting later this month. Since The A-team is supposed to start filming in August, word has been floating that Common is unlikly to be stepping into the shoes of Mr. T.
Now Blackfilm is saying that rapper The Game is being considered for the role. They also mention Ice Cube and former UFC Light Heavyweight champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, both of whom have been talked about here on Crimespree Cinema.
So while The Game is being talked about, it seems nobody really knows who will be joining Liam Neeson and Bradly Cooper.
While I like the idea of Ice Cube, Common still makes sense to me. He has a past with director Joe Carnahan and has more acting experience than The Game of Rampage Jackson.
