This has me pumped:The Ausello Files is reporting that Lee Tergesen (GENERATION KILL, OZ) will be appearing this season on CASTLE. Lee was amazing as Tobias Beecher on OZ and also starred in David Simon’s HBO miniseries GENERATION KILL.
According to TAF, Lee will play Gates, a shrewd, hardened, and violent felon who becomes the prime suspect in this season’s big “3XK” serial-killer investigation. The role is described as being potentially a recurring one.
I certainly hope it is. I like the idea of them not always wrapping up a case in one ep and the more Tergesen we get, the better. Lee has had appearances on LIE TO ME, ARMY WIVES, DEPERATE HOUSEWIVES as well as another couple dozen series. I can’t see why he has not snagged a regular role as he is a fine actor.
