YouTuber knowyourmo posted a couple of clips of Brad Schlei and Andrew Eaton talking about the production. They discuss the reasons for shooting in Oklahoma as well as the source material (Jim Thompson’s novel of the same name) and the problems of financing a film in the current economy.
Some interesting stuff, worth watching.
