Credit goes to the fine folks at Slash Film for this one. Here is the promotional poster, spotted at Cannes, for Nicolas Winding Refn’s DRIVE. Based on the novella by James Sallis, DRIVE is about a stuntman that moonlights as the getaway driver for bank heists. I first wrote about this over two years ago, when Hugh Jackson was starring and Neil Marshall (THE DESCENT) directing.
Now Ryan Gosling (THE NOTEBOOK, LARS AND THE REAL GIRL) is starring and the aforementioned Refn (PUSHER trilogy, BRONSON, VALHALLA RISING) is behind the camera.
Since no word has been made saying otherwise, I am under the assumption that the screenplay being used will still be that of Hossein Amini (THE FOUR FEATHERS, WINGS OF THE DOVE).
