Question about television viewing habits.

So I have a quesiton for everyone out there:
What television shows do you actively follow?
By that I mean you either watch it live or Tivo/DVR it.

Some shows I follow on DVD, but Dexter,. Numb3rs, Damages, Saving Grace, Castle and Fringe I watch each week. I simply can’t wait until the DVD release to find out what happens.

I started thinking about this as word has come out that Reaper and Chuck, two shows I casually follow, are likely not coming back.

Am I partially to blame? If I watched them every week, that would have been one more viewer. I know I am not a Nielson household, but I still feel a little guilty for not at least recording them.

So I am curious as to what shows are drawing us in each week. Are there other shows that you buy, but do not watch live?

    Damages (but no more), In Treatment, Saving Grace, Dexter, Mad Men, Fringe, The Office, 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory, Rescue Me. I keep meaning to try Castle and forgetting to.

    I grew up as TV-addicted, but over the last decade, I have found less and less to enjoy on the boob tube. With the recent cancellation of LIFE ON MARS, I'm now down to only a few shows I watch regularly: LIFE, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, BURN NOTICE, and IN PLAIN SIGHT. I've also been enjoying KINGS, but that's apparently going away soon. Beyond all those, I will occasionally tune in WITHOUT A TRACE and SCRUBS, and expect to add this new SOUTHLAND to that bunch. But otherwise, I get my TV fix from DVDs.

    I watch everything on DVD.
    We do watch marathons of L&O Criminal Intent each Sunday night to prep for the work week.

    I only really watch BURN NOTICE, and I DVR it, because I always forget that it's Thursday. I don't buy DVDs since I got NetFlix.

    I watch Reaper, and if you'd like to help try and save the show, we could really use the help. I only know the Reaper info, but if you wanted to help save Chuck, I suggest going to the NBC website to find those addresses.

    Numb3rs, the Law and Orders, the CSIs, Criminal Minds(I worried about it after Patinkin left, but it's in good hands).
    As you see, it's mostly the crime shows I like. I'll give all of them a chance. The Dvr is programmed for first run episodes of all those mentioned and the new ones starting to show.
    After that, The Big Bang Theory. Don't care much for other comedies.
