Gregg Hurwitz has a series of terrific books featuring deputy U.S. marshal Tim Rackley and they are now being developed for TNT network as a on going show. Hurwitz will executive produce along with Shawn Ryan for Sony Pictures TV.
Gregg is excited to be returning to Tim and to be working with Shawn: It’s been very fun – and challenging – working again with Tim and Dray Rackley after all these years. At risk of sounding (more) crazy, it’s amazing how quickly I started hearing their voices again in my head. I suppose I did live with them for the better part of five years, so it shouldn’t be that alarming. I’m thrilled to be working with Shawn Ryan, who is not only a knock-you-over incredible talent, but also a good buddy.
Ryan has a history of working on some damn good shows and his style should be a great fit for this series. There are four books in the series, and if you have not read them you should, right this minute!
