Reverend Sidney Chambers (James Norton and Inspector Goerdie Keating (Robson Green) are such an unlikely but prefect team-up for solving mysteries. BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE slated for August release...

The buzz around the upcoming home entertainment (Industry talk for DVD and Blu-ray releases) release of BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE is considerable. The source material is an Iconic Batman story that is as dark as dark can be and the animated feature film apparently is faithful enough to the source material to snag an R rating. The film features Batman regulars Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill and is directed by Sam Liu, whose animated Batman work has earned him an Emmy Award. If you were to ask comic fans what is the meanest, ugliest, coolest Batman story, odds are pretty good THE KILLING JOKE would be mentioned over and over. The tale came from the cracked mind of Alan Moore and had an impact an impact on many future Comic book writers and artists.
