TREME to Return to HBO for Fourth Shortened Final ...

David Simon’s TREME will get to end on it’s own terms. Dave Walker, of The Times-Picayune, is reporting that HBO has agreed to bring back TREME for a fourth season. The fourth season will be shorter and will allow Simon and co to leave the way they wanted to. David Simon: “We are going to be back for a season 3.5. HBO, upon viewing the 10 (season-three episodes) that we gave them and what we’ve done, they want to see the end of the story. They fought very hard to give us half a loaf. We’re going to take it and run.” The announcement came, in New Orleans, at a season three crew screening.

Extras include: • “Down in the Treme: A Look at the Music and...

THE CHICAGO CODE, LIE TO ME, HUMAN TARGET,  DETROIT 1-8-7, LAW & ORDER: L.A. and V all canceled. I can’t speak too much about Human Target, V or L&O: L.A., but the others do not shock...
