Veronica Mars fans rejoice, Comic-Con has brought us a look behind the scenes of the upcoming Veronica Mars film. After an insanely successful Kickstarter project, Rob Thomas has brought back Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring and company for more adventures on the big screen. Count me among those that are counting the days until Veronica returns to Neptune.

In August, I mentioned that Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas had interest in making a VM film, but that he had little time to start writing. Now IF Magazine has Mr. Rob confirming he is ready to start writing the screenplay. A rather interesting report has come from EW.com Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas met with the show’s former star Kristen Bell about the possibility of making a film based on the cult series. In addition to confirming that meeting, Thomas said he has had some conversations with former VM exec producer Joel Silver.
