It was previously reported taht Jon Bernthal will play Shane. Shane is a police officer and partner to Grimes. Jon recently appeared in THE GHOST WRITER and has also been in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM II (played Al Capone) and WORLD TRADE CENTER.
Also announced today was that Jack LoGiudice (SONS OF ANARCHY, RESURRECTION BLVD)is coming on board as co-exec producer. The creator of the source comic, Robert Kirkman, is also an exec producer with Frank Darabount (THE GREEN MILE, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION) acting as an exec producer, writer and director.
Good news all around. Lincoin is a good actor and Jack’s resume is damn impressive.
The show is expected to debut, in October, AMC Fearfest (formally Monsterfest), the network’s 14th annual marathon of thriller and horror films.
