The cast for the upcoming AMC series THE WALKING DEAD continues to fill out. The series is based on the graphic novels of Robert Kirkman and tell the story of a group stuggling to survive after a zombie uprising.
Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break) is on board as Lori Grimes, wife of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
Jeff DeMunn is also on board.DeMunn has worked with Darabont on five films and was nominated for an Ace and Emmy for Citizen X. No word on his role.
The show is expected to debut, in October, AMC Fearfest (formally Monsterfest), the network’s 14th annual marathon of thriller and horror films.
