After just one season, TNT is saying goodbye to KING & MAXWELL, the series featuring the characters of David Baldacci.
Jon Tenney and Rebecca Romijn were Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, former Secret Service agents turned private Investigators. The series averaged 3.1 million, but had TNT hit MAJOR CRIMES as a lead-in. MC has been doing over 5 million viewers a week and the fact that K&M lost such a large portion of them likely played a factor.
TNT currently has a number of shows in development, with debut seasons of THE LAST SHIP, MOB CITY and LEGENDS in the pipeline. They have also just ordered MURDER IN THE FIRST so there is more pressure than ever before for shows to deliver.
