I was meaning to put this up prior to Bouchercon, but did not get around to it. THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE is based on the novel of the same name by the late Stieg Larsson, the second book in his Millennium trilogy.
The film landed in Scandanavian theaters on Sept 19th and has done well. While the first film has a distribution deal in the U.S., nothing has been signed for this film. If THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO does as expected, we should see this one in 2010.
