Variety is reporting that director/writer Todd Field (In the Bedroom, Little Children) has agreed to adapt Teran’s upcoming The Creed of Violence.
Set in 1910, two men, a desperado and a government agent with a secret connection to him, try to thwart an arms smuggling ring.
The deal is for Field to write, but there is a chance he may end up directing.
Field was nominated for Oscars for Little Children and In the Bedroom.
